The College of Medicine has moved to Daejeon Medical Campus where the university hospital is located, to more efficiently carry out medical health education and clinical practice. The Department of Physical Therapy and the Department of Emergency Medicine were established in 2010 and 2012.
Department of Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is a section of the medical rehabilitation field that specializes in treating people who cannot lead their own lives due to various injuries, illness, and aging. We train occupational therapists that use physical, mental, and social intervention methods to help these people return to their normal lives.
University hospitals, general hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, special classes in general schools, special education schools, the medical device business, assistive technology specialists, and social welfare institutions(children and elder care facilities).
Department of Hospital Management
Hospital management is a specialized field of study that is not limited to basic medical knowledge, but also business administration and medical archivology. Ultimately, the department trains professional managers equipped with scientific management techniques related to hospital management and will be responsible for the management of hospital organizations.

Department of Optometry
The department educates eye specialists that are equipped with the understanding and knowledge of the eye, eyeglasses and contact lenses. They are trained to be able to perform the refractory test, eye function test, and the prescription and preparation of eyeglasses and contact lenses. The field is promising especially in overseas employment.

Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science
Clinical Pathology is a field of diagnostic medicine which uses scientific and professional technology to identify the cause of disease and suggest a plan for treatment. Upon passing the national examination after graduation, one can become a clinical pathologist. It is a department that trains rare professionals with prospect and pride.
Diagnostic department of general hospitals, pathology departments, nuclear medicine departments, special examination rooms, universities and nationally designated research institutions, researcher for pharmaceutical companies, public health officials.
Department of Radiological Science
The department trains practitioners with professional skills in medical radiology such as medical imaging and treatment using radiation generators and radioactive isotopes, cancer treatment, nuclear medicine examination and treatment.
These specialists will lead the field of the radiation industry.

Department of Dental Hygiene
The students here learn the theory and practice of dental hygiene. They are trained to be capable of performing preventive treatment of oral diseases, dental care coordination, dental middle management, and education and research.
(As of 2013, the only four-year program in Daejeon, out of 82 3/4-year universities).

Department of Physical Therapy
The department trains physical therapists that treat patients with a temporary or permanent disability caused by illness, accident, or congenital diseases. The treatment is done through exercise or other physical elements (water, light, electricity, heat, etc.) to restore the damaged functions and promote rehabilitation.
